Early marriage, namely marriage that occurred before the age of 18 years, is still a serious issue in many countries, including Indonesia. To understand the factors that encourage this phenomenon, a study uses the factor analysis method to identify the effect of various factors on marriage decisions at a young age. Factor analysis is a statistical method used to identify underlying patterns or structures in a dataset, and it is particularly useful in identifying the underlying factors that contribute to a particular phenomenon.

This study involved samples taken with cluster sampling techniques and used 11 variables to measure factors related to early marriage. This research makes an important contribution in understanding the factors that encourage early marriage. The results of this study can be used as a basis for developing effective prevention and intervention strategies to overcome the problems of early marriage.
