After induction, blood glucose levels were measured in the 15th, 30th, and 60 minutes after treatment.

The Post Hoc Statistics Test Tukey HSD indicates a significant difference between the EEDCB group and the negative control of CMC Na 0.5% (p <0.05). However, there is no significant difference between the EEDCB group and the Glibenclamide group (P> 0.05), which shows that the EEDCB effect is close to the effectiveness of glybenclamide as antihyperglycemia.

Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the ethanol extract of duck leaf duck at a dose of 50 mg/kgBB, 100 mg/kgBB, and 200 mg/kgBB has a significant antihyperglycemia effect in reducing blood glucose levels in male white mice induced by sucrose. This discovery provides new hopes in the development of herbal therapy for the treatment of diabetes mellitus and emphasizes the importance of further research to explore the potential and mechanism of work of the compounds contained in cocor duck leaves.
